Community Love Fund (Year 1 / initial 2021 cohort)
The Community Love Fund is a guaranteed income initiative first announced in January 2021 by Families for Justice as Healing in collaboration with The National Council for Incarcerated and Formerly Incarcerated Women and Girls, both based in Roxbury, Boston. This original (Year 1) cohort provided direct, unconditional cash relief to five formerly incarcerated and directly affected women from the Roxbury community for one year.
