Guaranteed Income for Older Adults
Guaranteed Income for Older Adults is a program of Almost Home, Inc., a Brighton, Colorado nonprofit that provides homeless prevention and housing stability services in Adams, Broomfield, and southern Weld Counties. The program delivers $200 monthly unconditional cash payments for 24 months to low-to-moderate income adults aged 50 and older to help them age in place and avoid housing instability. It is funded through a $400,000, two-year Changing Aging grant from the Next50 Foundation, a private Denver-based foundation focused on aging issues. Optional resource navigation support is also offered to participants.
